This Privacy Policy describes how BUMA collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the app, including your choices and rights.

2. Information we collect

A) Account and identity information

• Email address (when you sign up or sign in using email)
• Authentication information provided by Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In (for example, tokens needed to validate your login)

B) User-provided financial information

Budgets, income/expense items, categories, accounts, notes, and other data you enter in the app

C) App usage and device information

• App interaction data (screens viewed, feature usage, actions taken) for analytics and product improvement
• Technical details such as app version, device type/model (where available), language/region, and timestamps

D) Crash and performance diagnostics

Crash reports, stack traces, and performance metrics collected to improve stability and app performance

E) Advertising and measurement information

• Data used to measure marketing performance and attribution (where applicable)
• Signals and identifiers that advertising or measurement SDKs may provide (subject to platform permissions and user choices)

3. How we use information

We use the information to:

• Provide and operate BUMA (account access, functionality, and user experience)

• Measure advertising effectiveness (Meta ads / Google Ads measurement)

• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements when applicable

4. Third-party services (SDKs) and sharing

BUMA uses third-party services that may process certain data under their own terms and policies, including:

• Google Analytics (including Firebase / GA)
• Crash analytics (for example, Firebase Crashlytics)
• Meta advertising/measurement
• Google Ads measurement / conversion tracking

We share data only to the extent necessary for analytics, crash diagnostics, measurement, security, and app functionality.

5. Subscriptions and payments

BUMA offers weekly, monthly, and yearly subscription plans. Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play. BUMA does not directly collect or store your payment card details.

6. Data retention

• We retain your account and user-provided data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service.
• If your account is inactive for 90 days, your account data is automatically deleted or de-identified.
• In limited cases, some information may be retained longer when required for security, compliance, or dispute handling, and then deleted or de-identified.

7. Deleting your account and data

You may delete your account:

• In-app: Settings -> Account -> Delete Account

Deletion removes or de-identifies your personal data as described in the Account & Data Deletion Policy, subject to limited retention exceptions.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable laws, you may have rights to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction or deletion
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

BUMA is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such collection, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be made available in the app and/or on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date.
